Our research group recently attended the 59th Inner Ear Biology Workshop (IEB2024) in Warsaw, a highly engaging event filled with insightful talks, poster sessions, and valuable networking opportunities (i.e. a good opportunity to see our inner ear friends again). We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers for orchestrating such a successful meeting. We were proud to present our latest research contributions: Two oral presentations, by Esther Fousert on IEOs for disease modeling and therapy testing and by Wouter van der Valk on the human inner ear developmental RNA atlas and two scientific posters by Amy Lucassen and Winnie van den Boogaard, focused on disease modeling. We look forward to continuing these valuable collaborations and discussions in the field of inner ear research and are excited to reunite at the 60th workshop, which will be held next year in Tübingen!
