Our team had the pleasure of attending the 60th Inner Ear Biology (IEB) Workshop in Tübingen. We thank the organizing committee, especially Hubert Löwenheim and Anthony W. Gummer, for putting together such an inspiring conference. We contributed with both posters and talks. Esther Fousert and Athina Patra presented updates on their ongoing projects. Winnie van den Boogaard gave an oral presentation on her work in genetic disease modeling. Heiko Locher gave a talk highlighting our group’s work. Wouter van der Valk was honored with the Spoendlin Award and presented his research in a dedicated talk. The workshop was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and establish new collaborations. We are already looking forward to next year’s meeting in Utrecht. In the longer term we hope to welcome the IEB community ourselves in Leiden.
