On the 29th of November, we had the first Dutch Inner Ear meeting organized by our colleagues at the UMC Utrecht. We heard about all the inner ear research that happens in the Netherlands, from the research groups in Utrecht, Nijmegen, Rotterdam and Groningen. Topics included regeneration of inner ear progenitors, human inner ear organoids, gene therapy, genome studies and age-related hearing loss. We are excited to collaborate in the future, and feel very inspired!
