Our research group recently attended the ISSCR 2024 conference in Hamburg, where we proudly presented four research posters. In addition, our PhD candidate Esther delivered an exciting oral presentation on modeling and treating genetic inner ear disorders using our organoid models, earning the ISSCR Merit Award and the ISSCR Travel Award for her outstanding work. Lastly, we are proud to recognize our postdoc, Winnie, who has excelled in several competitions organized by reNEW and its Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee. These achievements have significantly enhanced the ISSCR experience. The conference offered a fantastic atmosphere for learning from leaders in the field and networking with stem cell researchers, including those within reNEW and the specialized field of inner ear research. We are grateful for this incredible opportunity and look forward to the next ISSCR meeting!
